The moulded rectangular top above a plain frieze with mouldings, on a pair of reeded baluster legs with upspringing clasped foliage and joined by a conforming stretcher, on scrolled fish legs, their open mouths supporting the balusters, with scrolled feet

The table, with acanthus-and-reed enriched pillars on dolphin supports, relates to furniture illustrated in T. King's, Specimens of Furniture in the Elizabethan and Louis Quatorze Styles, 1835, while the dolphins are stylised in the Indian manner.
