A GEORGE III MAHOGANY PARCEL-GILT AND EBONISED FOUR POST BED
The stepped rectangular spreading tester above three swan neck pediment sides surmounted by six foliate scrolls, and with leaf-filled trellis frieze, suspending blue silk frieze curtains, supported by reeded cluster columns on castors, with padded blue silk headboard, and further comprising a box spring, a mattress, two blue and white tie-back tassles, four oak side rails, six oak slatts, two further oak supports, two padded blue striped silk supports, lacking bolt-hole covers, one end bar with paper label inscribed '192', one side bar with paper label inscribed 'schedule no. 2 16.7.30', one of the oak posts inscribed indistinctly in chalk, 'Wilton' or 'Wiltan'
