Edo Period (Late 17th/early 18th Century)
The first pair decorated in iron-red, green and black enamels and gilt on underglaze blue with plum blossom and bamboo, the everted rims with flowerheads, the reverse with ibises perched in flowering branches; the second with flowers and foliage among banded hedges, one with a crack and slight chips
