A PAIR OF FINE KAKIEMON SAKE BOTTLES
Edo Period (Late 17th Century)
Each of hexagonal form decorated in iron-red, green, yellow and black enamels and gilt on underglaze blue, each side with bamboo, a pine and blossoming prunus emerging from rockwork, the tall tapering neck with karakusa, one rim with a small chip, one bottle with extended firing crack to base
Each approx. 10.7/8in. (27.5cm.) high (2)
