The top of the cover decorated in kinji, gyobu, gold and silver takamakie, hiramakie, e-nashiji and gold and silver heidatsu with the takaramono [attributes of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune] - the hat and cloak of invisibility, a mallet, five tama (and another at the top of the mast), a clove, a weight, coral, scrolls, a shippo form and a bonsai of a flowering plum tree, the area between the stays of the mast gyobu, forming a background to the takaramono, the rims to the box and cover silver, the sides, interior and base nashiji, a minor chip to the base is partly filled
