Lot Essay

Tanaka Minko made other objects such as tsuba, inro, tonkotsu and boxes as well as netsuke. His subjects and materials were very varied and he carved figure and animal subjects, together with others in various different woods or sometimes in combination with inlays of other materials, such as stained ivory or stag antler.
