Lot Essay

Seiobo, a fabulous female of Taoist legends, is the only woman among the large family of sennin. Also known as 'The Royal Mother of the West', her abode in Mount Konron is peopled with hosts of genii while in the gardens there grows a peach tree whose fruit, ripening only once in three thousand years, confers immortality on all who eat it.
