Converted from a rook-rifle calibre, the sidelever action with non-selective ejector, foliate-scroll engraving with full hardening-colour (renewed), highly-figured stock with pistolgrip and butt-plate, the stock inset with a presentation plaque inscribed 'R.M. Academy Steeplechase 1st. Prize Presented By The Staff 9th May 1894 To H.O. Mance', octagonal barrel with matt top and open-sights, the breech-end mounted with a Zeiss 'Zielvier' telescopic-sight in quickly-detachable mounts
