The rectangular simulated verde antico top above two drawers, each painted in the grotesque style with a central cartouche, surrounded by bead and rocaille decoration and flanked by stylised arabesque acanthus, scrolling foliage, flowerheads and putti, the sides similarly painted with stylised flowering and scrolling plants, surmounted by a flower filled urn flanked by a pair of putti holding swags, within borders of stylised leaf decoration on a green ground, on square tapering legs with giltmetal caps, the decoration refreshed
