A SET OF FOUR ORMOLU TWIN-BRANCH WALL LIGHTS
Of Regence style, 19th Century
Each with a backplate of lyre form, with sides wrapped in leaves and husks with a laurel leaf and anthemion cresting, above a mask of Diana abutted by a quiver & a flaming torch, the sides hung with grapes centred by a faun mask above an oak leaf and acorn finial supporting husk and foliate decorated twin-branches, the nozzles with flowerheads and strapwork on pounced ground above a circular spreading gadrooned tray supported by a stiff leaf moulded drip pan, drilled and fitted for electricity
