Oblong and with cut corners, the hinged cover with oval enamel cartouche of two partly clothed putti with sheafs of corn and a spaniel, within a white diaper work and rosette decoration, the base similarly decorated, the sides with bright-cut foliage band, marked in base and cover in later fitted case
