Lot Essay

Henry Gastineau developed a highly succesful practice as a drawing master, and was extremely prolific, undertaking several tours of the West Country, as well as of Switzerland and Italy. Robert Hills was the self taught First Treasurer of the Old Watercolour Society who throughout his career concentrated on the depiction of animals.
