The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with unusual decorative bridge cock, ruby endstone, two-armed bimetallic balance with small sliding weights, spherical white metal hairpsring with adjustable gilt clamp mounted on the top plate, pivoted detent escapement with steel locking pallet, pointed tooth escape wheel, steel set-up, dust shroud to the winding square, under separate dust cover, (later) silver dial with engraved Roman numerals, engraved on the edge of the dial plated Robin aux Galleries du Louvre, Arabic ten minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at XII, blued steel moon hands, in (later) engine-turned silver consular case, dial and movement signed and numbered
