The enamelled dial signed 'BEECKAERT A PARIS' and with cartouche-shaped Roman hours and Arabic minutes (two cartouches replaced) inset within an ormolu scrolled and rockwork bezel, the shaped frame and foliate scrolled case with engraved boulle marquetry surmounted by an asymmetrical pierced and foliate cresting, the interior of the back-board veneered with amaranth and inlaid with engraved scrolled brass boulle marquetry, on scrolled legs, the back of the carcase stamped 'B.LIEUTAUD' to the base, and on its shaped bracket with conforming mounts
