Flickan i äppelblom (Girl with apple blossom)

The present work depicts Ingrid, the daughter of Carl and Karin Larsson's housekeeper, who was painted by the artist several times after his own children had grown up. Ingrid is depicted standing in the garden of the Larsson's home, Spadarvet, in Sundborn, where both Ingrid and her mother lived. In the window in the background stands Larsson's youngest son Esbjörn with two twins from the town.
