engraving, 1559, a fine impression, an intermediate between Bastelaer's first and second state (of five), with the monogram of the engraver, the name of Brueghel and address of the publisher, but before letters below the borderline, with an indistinct armorial watermark, with margins left and right, trimmed just within the platemark at the top and bottom (trimmed to the subject at the upper left sheet edge), several handling creases at the lower sheet edge, other minor defects, generally in good condition
