etching, 1635, fifth (final) state, the line between the devil's right claw and wing barely discernible, a fair impression, with an indistinct proprietary watermark (?), with narrow margins on three sides, trimmed on or just within the platemark at the bottom, the remains of old tape at the upper reverse sheet edge, a pin-hole in the lower right area of the subject, a few handling creases at the lower right sheet edge, other minor defects
