etching with drypoint printed in bistre, 1879, on fine antique laid paper, with a proprietary watermark, second state (of three), a fine, rich impression, printed with tone, signed with the butterfly in pencil, with the Printsellers' Association blindstamp, with margins, an inscription in pen and ink in the left margin recto and verso, very pale discoloration at the extreme right sheet edge and towards the left sheet edge, two creases at the lower right sheet corner, tape at the upper reverse sheet edge with associated rippling at the upper right sheet corner, otherwise generally in good condition
