An Aquamarine and Diamond-set Necklace By Cartier
The front section comprising a line of elongated hexagonal mixed-cut aquamarines, each separated by two collet-set brilliant-cut diamonds, and suspending a fringe of graduated trap-cut aquamarines, each terminating in three brilliant-cut diamonds, to a fancy-link back chain with rectangular diamond-set clasp, circa 1955, with a fitted red leather case by Cartier, the interior inscribed 'K7842', 40.5cm. long
Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Cartier confirming that the necklace was made by them in 1956. Their signature would probably have been located on the clasp

The accompanying letter from Cartier dated 11/11/1998 states that the necklace was made by them and that the clasp has been changed.
