FRENCH, LATE 17TH CENTURY
The shaft with two knops above a square drip-tray and shallow square base; with bands of foliate decoration cast in relief. Very minor nicks; wear to relief decoration.

Judging by the extremely small size of this candlestick, it was almost certainly used for travel, possibly as part of a 'toilette' set.
