marked with unknown makers initials AK, Moscow, circa 1840, with later French import marks
Baluster shaped, on spreading spirally fluted foot with niello floral sprays on stippled grounds, with ribbed bands at intervals, the bodies with three panel of scrolling foliage niello on stippled ground, one enclosing rocaille scrolls and latticework, with spiralling flutes at intervals, marked under bases and on rims
