The 24 hour silvered dial signed (within triangle) Dent Maker to the Queen, 61 Strand & 4 Royal Exchange London, No 42453, Arabic hour numerals 0-23, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, blued steel hands, Earnshaw escapement, Dent staple balance, polished steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, mounted on the escape wheel arbor an additional six-tooth brass wheel to operate the adjacent electrical contacts assembly,brass bowl, mounted in small green baize lined recess in three-tier plain mahogany box with two electric plugs to right-hand side of bottom section, the top lid with inset bone disc inscribed Dent 42453.
