Each fruit-shaped box naturalistically modelled and enamelled in shades from red and pink to lemon-yellow and lime-green, the cover surmounted by a portly squirrel chewing a leafy branch of red berries, the stand similarly decorated with a melon surrounded by squirrels among vine, the foliate rim with geometric dragon-scrolls, some restoration
