Lot Essay

Etienne-Clément Marivetz (1728-1794), a French physician, wrote with Goussier the Prospectus d'un traité de géographie physique particulière du royaume de France. In 1771 he contributed to the construction of the Berry canal. He was guillotined during the French Revolution.
