FIRST EDITION OF THE EPIC HISTORIES OF HERODOTUS. The Greek was 'the earliest historian; his predecessors were by contrast chroniclers' (PMM 41). It is bound with the SECOND EDITION of the Golden Bull of Charles IV, a major document in the regulation of kingship.
