Titles in red and black with engraved vignettes, engraved plates, illustrations and head- and tailpieces. Contemporary vellum (lightly soiled). Provenance: George Grenville, later 1st Marquess of Buckingham (1753-1813, inscription noting purchase in Rome in 1774). Grenville was in Rome, on a tour with Viscount Bulkeley, in January-March and April-May 1774.
