Incorporating J.D. Dougall slide-and-tilt patent No. 1128 of 1860, the action comprizing a bolted rearward-facing sidelever, an action-face with double bosses and a rearward extension on the rear barrel lump engaging with a recess in the standing-breech, the non-rebounding backlocks with bolted dolphin hammers, percussion fences, best foliate-scroll engraving with much hardening-colour, boldly-figured stock with pistolgrip, engraved and colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap and unusual engraved ebonite extension, sling-eyes, the steel barrels with matt sight-rib, horn rear-sight and folding foresight with integral ring protector
