A FINE T. HORSLEY 1863, 1867 AND 1868 PATENT 12-BORE BAR-IN-WOOD HAMMER GUN BY T. HORSLEY, NO. 2154
Incorporating T. Horsley pull-back snap-action toplever patent No. 2410 of October 1863, T. Horsley self-extracting striker patent No. 1138 of 17th. April 1867 and T. Horsley 'loaded' indicator patent No. 710 of 2nd. March 1868, the top of the standing-breech mounted with curved shutters each of which shows 'LOADED' as the breech is closed on a cartridge, non-rebounding sidelocks with ornately-carved high-spurred hammers, best foliate-scroll engraving, well-figured stock with butt-plate, the skeletal action-bar enclosing the bar-in-wood at the forend-knuckle, the browned fine damascus barrels with game-rib
