With a copy of The Home, [San Francisco] November 1910, 8vo, original printed drab wrappers, containing the first appearance (?) of "The Sun Dial" -- Autograph manuscript of an essay on his taste in art, "The Gargoyle's Kiss," 6 pages, 8vo, in ink on lined sheets, a working draft with extensive revisions. "...I had and have a distinct joy in what might almost be called ugly -- at least in that grotesque art that approaches the side of the comic..." Together 3 items. (3)
