A STETSON HAT
A early 20th century top hat style Stetson hat, constructed of a satin brim and felt band. The hat band and the inside crown are marked with the Stetson crest and John B. Stetson Company, 1224 Chesnut Street, together with the original box. It was common for Indians participating in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show to wear this style hat, also worn by gamblers and cowboys for dress.
