PLAYING CARD SIGNED BY JOHN WESLEY HARDIN
A Samuel S. Hart brand Queen of Hearts Faro playing card, signed at the bottom margin: J.W. Hardin July 4, 1895. This card was shot three times during a shooting exhibition sponsored by Hardin and his partner Mike Collins at the grand opening of the Wigwam Saloon in El Paso on July 4th, 1895. John Wesley Hardin was known as one of the most notorious killers in the West and considered a homicidal maniac. The card is framed and matted, accompanied with a photograph of Hardin along with a gold plaque stating: John Wesley Hardin, Born: May 26, 1853, Killed: August 19, 1895, Acme Saloon.
