TEXAS SPURS AND A TEXAS BIT

A pair of early 20th century one piece single mounted iron spurs, the heel bands have nickel overlay and the "CROCKETT" mark under the spur shanks, the 1/8th curved shanks are silver overlaid and have a 20 point rowel. These spurs are represented as pattern No. 260 in Crockett's No. 14 catalog; together with a bit constructed of iron with nickel overlay. Hallmarked "CROCKETT" on the inside cheekpiece, the bit is pattern No. 346 in the Crockett catalog No. 14. The mouthpiece is a half breed, with a nickel overlaid lip bar.
Overall spur length: 7 in. Rowel: 2 in.
