MODEL 1872 BOOT SOLE
A model 1872 boot sole found on the Timber Fight Line with the top cut off by American Indians. After a battle, it was customary for American Indians to salvage the leather found on the fight line. The American Indians later used this leather to make utensils and tools for daily use.
