Composed of worn commerical leather backing, decorated at each side with broad rectangular silver slides, each deeply grooved and stamped with triangluar and scalloped motifs, and with a pair of curving cheek pieces with ball terminal and similar stamped decorations, surmounted by a pair of scalloped circular conchas, each with filed and stamped details enclosing a repousse rosette and set with a turquoise stone, the forehead ornament centering a triangular panel stamped with elaborate feather motifs and inset with three turquoise stones, a naja suspended below inset with a carved turquoise stone in the from of tear drop, Spanish iron bit suspended below, simple buckle behind the head
