Lange & Sohne, Glashutte B/Dresden, 863, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, reversed fusee, Earnshaw escapement, Guillaume's integral cut bimetallic balance with four cylindrical heat compensation weights, the cross arm inscribed within a triangle RGG, with blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl, gimballed in two tier mahogany box with glazed top, the upper section with rectangular metal plaque inscribed A. Lange & Sohne, 863, Glashutte/SA, external brass drop handles
