silvered dial signed and numbered McLachlan & Son, London, No.1308, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, gold hour and minute hands, fusee movement with Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with two cylindrical heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl numbered 536 and gimballed in a brass bound mahogany three tier box, the middle section with vacant ivory plaque, the inside bearing the trade labels of Dubas, Horologer-Opticien, Nantes, and Lecrivain-Ledran, Observatoire de Horologer-Havre, external drop handles.
