A finely detailed exhibition standard 1:384 scale waterline model of the Cunard Liner Q.S.T.S. Aquitania,
built by R. Chapman, with masts, derricks, rigging and radio aerials, anchors, winches, capstans, bollards, deck rails, companionways, ventilators, hatches, superstructure with wheelhouse and open bridge over with helm, binnacle, voice pipes and telegraphs, stayed funnels with safety valve extension pipes and hooters, deck lights, doors and windows, cranes, lockers, fifty collapsible lifeboats, twenty lifeboats in davits and four other boats and much other fine detailing. The hull, with simulated plating and portholes, is finished in Cunard livery and mounted on a painted moulded seascape. Glazed case -- 9 x 36½in. (23 x 92.7cm.)
