A set of four William III unascribed provincial trefid spoons,
of good gauge with ribbed rat-tails and rounded terminals, pricked "W.W.E 1699" makers mark "A.B" crowned and a leopard's head struck twice on the back of the stem, possibly North Country/Newcastle* area circa 1699 - approx. - 20.25cm long, 7.25oz.
*The style of makers mark and configuration of the marks may point to this region, as may the decoration.
