A James II ascribed West Country lace-back trefid spoon,
of good gauge with a similarly decorated and flared terminal pricked "F.P.M.V 86" on the reverse, stamped on the back of the stem with three marks, one indistinct, one two pellets and a drop and one a 'T' within a ten pointed star, by an unascribed maker, Tiverton circa 1686 - 19.5cm long, 1.75oz.
