A late Charles II unascribed provincial lace-back trefid spoon
with a scroll decorated rat-tail and a vacant oval cartouche at the top of the stem, flanked by stamped scrolls, the reverse pricked "R.Q? 1683 R.L" and stamped on the back of the stem thrice with a six-spoked wheel-like mark, probably Wessex/West Country circa 1683 - 21.5cm long, 1.25oz.
