A George III tea caddy
of plain oblong form with slab sides and a flat base, the flat cover surmounted by an oblong knop finial, probably by William Purse, 1789 - 12.5cm long x 11cm high, 12.5oz.
This caddy was probably one of a set of three that fitted into a box or case.
