Elizabeth, Duchess of Beaufort, was the daughter of John Berkeley of Stoke Gifford and sister of Norborne, Lord Bottetout, whose baronetcy she inherited. She married Charles Noel, 4th Duke of Beaufort on 1st May 1740. She had one son, Henry, 5th Duke of Beaufort, and five daughters.
