A shibayama style silver rectangular tray
pierced with scrolling foliage and mon, and applied in coloured enamels with a ho-o in flght, lotus flowers and butterflies, inset with a horn and ivory fan shaped panel inlaid in mother-of-pearl, coral and hardstone with a butterfly and flowerheads, on four pierced and shaped bracket feet -- 10.1/8in. (25.7cm) wide, 19th Century, (dents and losses).
