A gold lacquer four-case inro
decorated in gold hiramakie, kimpun and scattered nashiji with Jurojin seated on his stag, the reverse with a karako and a crane, all in a garden of prunus and pine, the details inlaid in coral, ivory and mother-of-pearl -- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) long, signed; a roironuri three case inro decorated in gold hiramakie with insects in flight above trailing flowers and grasses -- 2¾in. (17cm.) long; and a one case inro, the side panel opening to reveal five small drawers, decorated with numerous cranes on a simulated bamboo ground -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) long, all 19th Century, (some minor chips and wear).
