painted with a broad band of a scholar and boy on the terrace of a pavilion overlooking a garden of pine and rockwork, the reverse with equestrian figures accompanyied by numerous attendants carrying various baskets, all within borders of mythical beast cartouches and geometric designs -- 11½in. (29.2cm.) high, probably 19th Century, (some fritting to rim.)
