modelled as a Japanese dwarf, wearing a pale-blue robe moulded with flowers, seated holding a Noh theatre mask, the spout issuing from its mouth, the handle formed from a plat of his hair, shape 1838, year cypher for 1875 (tiny chip to the base rim of the cover) -- 19.5cm. wide
