A George Jones strawberry dish
with a cream ladle and spoon, the handle formed as a thrush perched between two wells modelled as nests, supported by branches above a trefoil bowl moulded with strawberry leaves and blossom on a pale-blue-ground, moulded lilac pad mark, impressed registration mark for 1870 (the handle broken and repaired with some associated losses, cream jug and sugar bowl deficient) -- 27.5cm. wide, the leaf moulded ladle (broken and repaired) -- 11cm. long, the spoon (minor rim chips to bowl) -- 19cm. long
