A Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. mottled purple-ground oviform vase
moulded with a gadrooned rim above a band of stiff leaves, the shoulder with a band of pendant leaves, the lower section gadrooned, beaded and moulded with vertical lappet bands, the stem moulded with a wreath above a fluted foot and a beaded band, supported by a square base, shape 558, indistinct impressed mark and painted numeral, circa 1875 (cover deficient, chips to rim) -- 45cm. high
