of ovoid form, each painted with a panel of fruit and flower bouquets, probably by William Cook, to the reverse Watteauesque scenes of amourous couples within garden landscapes, on domed feet, the covers with pinecone finials and marked with 'CBD' monogram, circa 1855 (both finials repaired, some wear) -- 37.5cm. high
