Two Minton pottery 'variegated' pedestals
in the Gothic taste, oviform with stepped cylindrical bases, printed in brown on a cream-coloured ground with bands of flowerheads among meandering entwined bands of leaves and gothic panels, the ground enamelled to simulate granite, shape 2903, impressed mark, year cyphers for 1889 (some damage and repairs) -- 69cm. and 71cm. high
